Supporting Supported Living Homes With Fundraiser Art

Community Living Centers strives to provide an enriching and caring environment for adults with developmental disabilities through thoughtful care homes across Michigan.

The following drawings were created for and auctioned at their 41st and 42nd annual Celebrity Chefs Dinners, gala events held to benefit the organization’s residents.

After visiting Community Living Centers, Lauren was inspired by their willingness to work together. The residents’ sense of community and combined efforts reminded her of growth in the natural world: the process of birds learning to fly and a garden that takes plenty of work to maintain, but that produces beautiful flowers bringing joy to anyone who sees them.
